Honda - Live Every Litre Project Premier July 21

Everybody has a "dream travel destination" or a journey he has always wanted to do.

Honda has made this dream possible for 13 people from all around the globe who they found with the help of the internet. They have made a documentary about it and TOMORROW will be the exclusive online premier.

I liked the teaser a lot and will try to watch the movie tomorrow at 9 PM German time on July 21.

Claudio von Planta is the regisseur and has managed to not put to much attention on the actual product, the Honda CR-Z.

Yiting Cheng, who was born in Taiwan and is now living in London used 8 general objects such as wood boards, lamps and disposable coffee cups.

He hides the valuables through utilizing stereotypes and visual camouflage.
He is hiding things where no one would expect it.

Mark Zuckerberg created Facebook in 2004 at Harvard during his sophomore year.

DIY Retro TRENDZETA Bike completed

Its done. All stickers are sticked on the frame now. I like it. First BIG DIY project: COMPLETED.

Now I am just gonna add some little parts from the flea market or from the bay if I really see something interesting. I am going to keep it oldschool tho.

DIY Roll Up Backgammon

What should you do with your spare time in the summer?

I am gonna try to gather some felt or cloth and some retro Backgammon tokens.

What you need?

-felt, cloth or leather
-a scissor
-some cloth glue and little little craft skills plus a little creativity

Hope to get your creative minds going. I Hope it might look a little like the one below when I am finished. Its available on MATT SINGER's website for as little as 165$. I prefer to spend 10 € on cloth or felt and have a good time putting it together. I think I am going to try some fency colors...
I might add a TZ logo on the tokens as well...

Pharrell renamed Berlin to BIRDLIN

What a concert and what a show!!

First Tony Hawk and his friends rocked the building and then, at

10.30pm NERD got up on the stage and performed at it's best!

PS: Pharrell spontaneously renamed Berlin to Birdlin, due to Tony Hawks nickname the "Birdman"

TZ loves wood shelves

I love wood shelves. They need to be simple and rustic for my taste.

The shelve above is from Holzwerk-A, a manufacturer based in Goettingen Germany.

But what do you do, if you cant afford a custom made piece of furniture?

Just ask your local fruit and vegetable shopman for old woodden cases, check out grandma's attic or browse your favourite online auction website.

Its simple as that. Use just one as a nightstand or several as a whole shelve for your favourite books and records.

A little story might show you how easy it is to be successful with such simple ideas:

In 2006, the designer Jasper Morrison was asked to design a night stand. After testing several ideas, he discovered that the old wine case/box, which was sitting next to his bed was defying all competition. Basically he reproduced the box with high quality wood and was selling it under the name "The Crate".

Rethinking what is given. Simple and smart and easy to reproduce at home with just a single old case/box.

Consumers sue Apple because of new iPhone

I Love apple products. I really do.
I just bought my first Mac in May. I have an iPhone since February, but can use it since last week ( bought it with the newest firmware which was unlockable) and I have an iPod ever since.

But i dont like products with major bugs. A little while ago I had to analyse a tool used at work since the employees where not using the tool. I noticed my co-workers had discovered several bugs, which falsified the results coming out of the tool.

I somehow felt like this when a friend of mine told me about his problems with his iPhone 4. He is a lefty and the connection when calling, not just once, got disturbed when holding the phone. By now the whole internet community knows that the phone has some problems getting a signal when holding the phone with your bare hands.

But now it went a step further: Consumers sue Apple in the US state Maryland due to reception difficulties. But Apple has already issued an open letter to the iPhone users, revealing that the formula used to calculate bars of signal strength is inaccurate.

Summing up, a free software fix will come shortly.

If there is anyone out there, like an antenna engineer who can help fixing the problem, have a look on the apple website. They are currently looking for your skills :)

Not existing? Tired of all those AXE effect commercials on TV?

Its great and entertaining.
