Fanfest at Kudamm, Berlin : UNBELIEVABLE

WOW, 4:1 ! I was expecting a tense game with a 2:1 finish for Germany, but everything was different.


Yes, we just had 40 something percent ball possesion, so what? We simply made the goals and Englans didnt. Of course as we have all seen, Englans's second goal should have counted. It was a goal for sure.

Sorry for that, but in the end we left the field as the winners.

Some friends and I decided spontaneously to drive to the Kudamm, the heart of Berlin when it comes to Soccer Game Celebration. No car was able to pass through this part of town. The police closed down the area from Wittenbergplatz to the Kranzler Eck and even further.

The atmosphere was amazing.

I dont know how many people were celebrating the win.
I took some pictures with my Canon 1000D.

Maybe, for all the people who could not be there, I can let you be part of that atmosphere through the pictures.

WM SPECIAL III : "THE STUPID CUP"

Alright, another one for today.
If you love soccer, if you love the tension, you will love this one.

Its a prank planned and performed by Remi Gaillard with a lot of help from many more.

Its called "The Stupid Cup". He basically organises a lot of people, some coaches, some smoke bombs and horns plus a streaker.
This is just hilarious. They drive up to this amateur soccer game and celebrate in the stands as if they are cheering for a Champions League game.

Enjoy. I was laughing too hard and still can when thinking of the video !!

Torstrasse 66 x Urban Gallery Store No 3

Today I went on a little ride with my Yamaha XJ6 bike heading towards Torstrasse in Berlin.

Earlier today I have heard and read about the URBAN GALLERY STORE No 3 in Torstrasse 66, Mitte.

This temporary gallery/shop is a project from the guys from UNDPLUS and is. I was more then late, arriving at 6.55 PM and it was supposed to close at 7 PM. Fortunatelly one let me in and have a look and enjoy the pieces of wonderful urban art!

As I said, its a temporary project and this saturday, June 26th, TOMORROW, is the last day.

They have great stuff from brands like: WOOD WOOD, WASTED GERMAN YOUTH, URBAN EARS and many more. Some of the artists are: PAUL SNOWDEN, ALEX FLACH, LUKAS FEIREISS and many more good artists.

So my recommendation for you is, go, be amazed and enjoy!

I was blown away!Great pieces, great store, simply urban Berlin.

Dulux Walls “Let’s Colour” Project

Again this is a great piece which just lets you have a smile on your face. I love this kind of little youtube videos after a hard day.
The project is about coloring grey spaces worldwide with vibrant colors. It is supposed to be a color movement. Lets see if I start coloring Berlin walls soon. They worked together with communities to color schools, houses and walls from India, London, Paris to Brazil.

I like the idea a lot. If I get the chance to gather a few random drawers I'll try to set up my own concept of recycled furniture!

I also really like the concepts from the Berlin based "SchubLaden" as seen below. I especially like the combination of the white wood and the brown drawer! Far more ideas on their website!

Another Web Wow which will probably be one of my alltime favourites. The music from those two guys is a sample of 70s tunes and instrumentals. Its amazing music which is playing on my iTunes up and down since I discovered it yesterday. And the album is for free!

The two wanted to work together on a project where they could incorporate several of their talents, related to music and design. They wanted to do this under a moniker that would pay homage to the ’70s. The collaboration allowed them to do four major things, design, beat dig, produce amazing music, and simply have fun."

Bike Project- Sticker just arrived

The Logo for the front did not come out well though. Will have to get it done once more but the rest is great.

The bikes name is going to be BIROTA 1.0.

Birota is latin for bike, wheel, bicycle or cycle!
My brother is also working on a bike which is going to be named BIROTA 2.0!

What do you think, is the name oldschool enough?
I think it sounds good :)

Will provide pictures with the logo and the finished bike soon.

Antón García Abril "La Trufa"

Well if I would have enough money I would go out in the woods and start building this amazing piece of art that I have just seen on the web.

In English this piece is called "The Truffle".

Antón García Abril is a Spanish musician and composer but his creative mind produced this "building" as well.

The Truffle involved pouring concrete over hay bales stacked and burried inside soil from the surroundings.
Some more steps created a space within a stone that sits on the ground and blends with the territory.

Enjoy this video and the urgent felling of wanting to go out and get creative.
