TZ's Christmas post - Minimal Design

Friends, havent posted anything for a while. I am just enjoying my break from work.
I have finished a little holiday project just today. Will post it in a few days.

But meanwhile, I have seen a very cool thing on the web.
Simplified and minimalised product packaging from Antrepo. The projects name is “Minimalist effect in the maximalist market”.

Which one is your favorite and would you even prefer compared to the original design?

The safest bike lock, by Conrad

Screenshoot 9.12.2010
Some of you Germans might have seen the new commercial from the electronic shop Conrad, where this guy lets a robotic bike lock pull his bike up a street light..?!
Here is the making of, of the bike lock! So cool! I'd love to have that for my bike. For your interest, at the end of the video is the real commercial, which is on German TV!

thx Eric for forwarding the link to me!!

TZ likes Retail Store Interior

This might be a topic for a series here on my blog. Because on a small place like a retail store you can do so much to address and strike the customer. The is post NO. 1 of the topic.
I hope you like it and want to have some cool stores as this one around your place.

Store number one uses paper planes on the whole ceiling as a decoration or art, however you want to see it. You want to guess how many planes they used?!...around 5000. Unbelievable.

Well, I just remembered that this post is actually NR.2, since the post about the NY coffe shop might be NR.1 and has been picked up with good feedback by some of you.

PS: Daniel, I really want to have some life pictures from NY :)

And dont think that they have bought all those paper planes as you can see in the video below:

How news would look like, if invented today...

Imagine a world without newspapers till NOW. Year 2010. Dezember. And now imagine some people invented the newspaper, just now. 3 days ago lets say instead of 150 years ago. Can you imagine how it would look like?

The guys from Bonnier thought about that. Here is the result:
